JSTI｜EPTISA Signs Contract with Turkey's Minstry of Environment
02-Apr-2019 EPTISA has signed a new contract with Turkey's Ministry for Environment and Urbanization. The project is focused on contributing to high levels of environmental protection with the integration of environmental considerations into the preparation and adaptation of future programmes.
The awarding of this contract is aimed at supporting the further development and implementation of the Strategic Environmental Assessment program (SEA). Accordingly, Eptisa will not only support Turkey to begin the first implementations of the by-laws on the SEA programme by enhancing their institutional capacity, but will also implement and disseminate the by-laws throughout the country in line with SEA Directive 2001/42/EC.
With this project, Eptisa will provide a comprehensive blend of technical expertise and practical experience thanks to its experience in a wide range of disciplines, and similar projects implemented previously, together with the facilitation for backstopping services.
