    On October 23, 2018, the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong. President Xi Jinping attended the ceremony and announced its inauguration. A day later, the bridge was officially opened to traffic at 9:00 a.m. Its opening has dramatically shortened the travelling time from Hong Kong to Zhuhai and Macao from 3 hours to about 45 minutes, which will enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the Pearl River Delta region and contribute to the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macao, thus is of great strategic significance to the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With its rich experience in large-scale bridge quality control, internationally advanced testing technology, fine equipment and high-caliber staff, JSTI Group has undertaken the quality control task of the main works of HZMB. 

    As a third-party testing agency for project quality control, JSTI Group is also the only private enterprise participating in the construction of HZMB. From the end of 2010, it has been fully involved in the HZMB project and completed the preparation and filing work for the laboratory of the main works test center of HZMB in 2011. Every single day out of all 365 days a year, there were JSTI staff holding position in the site laboratory, whose hard work and commitment through out over 2,000 days and nights have effectively ensured the quality safety of the HZMB. It is worth mentioning that the main works test center of HZMB has met the requirements of the comprehensive Grade B of the Ministry of Transport in terms of scale and has become the first site laboratory in China to obtain CMA certification.
