      Recently, the Third International BIM Awards cum Conference was held in Hong Kong. The Elevated Expressway Project in the Xuzhou Yingbin Avenue which was undertaken by JSTI Group won Best Special Application in Traffic. Organized by bSHK, this conference (awards) honors companies and project teams who have made contributions or attained achievements in the field of BIM implementation, application, research and education across the world and this year has attracted the declaration of 500-plus projects from more than 40 countries and regions.

      The BIM Center of JSTI Group was established in 2014 to provide BIM technical services in engineering. Since its inception, it has undertaken more than 20 BIM application projects in various stages of design, construction and operation and maintenance, covering fields of engineering such as highway transportation, water transportation, municipal administration, railway transportation and construction. The main products developed at present are as follows: the 3D collaborative design platform, 3D real-time BIM + GIS mapping, the BIM-based expropriation and demolition management system, the BIM-based cloud platform for collaborative management of engineering construction, the BIM-based 5D construction simulation system (electronic sand table) and the BIM-based digital engineering asset management system.

      As of now, the projects undertaken by the BIM Center have won many domestic and foreign BIM awards including Be Inspired Awards for advances in infrastructure and Innovation Cup held by China Engineering & Consulting Association.
