Jiangsu-US Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar Held in Los Angeles

 On July 25, Jiangsu-US Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar was held in Los Angeles successfully. The seminar was hosted by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. A delegation comprised of Department of Commerce (Jiangsu Province), Foreign Affairs Office (Jiangsu Province), Civil Affairs Department (Jiangsu Province), Science and Technology Department (Jiangsu Province), Development and Reform Commission (Jiangsu Province), and related enterprises attended the meeting under the leadership of Chen Zhenning, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province. Liu Jian, Chinese consul general in Los Angeles, Jiang Junhui, finance minister of California government, and Gary Toebben, President of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, addressed the meeting. A total of more than 300 representatives from Chinese and American enterprises participated in the meeting. Zhu Xiaoning, Vice President of JSTI Group, attended the meeting and addressed a speech.

      The meeting was chaired by Ma Minglong, Director of the Department of Commerce, Jiangsu Province. The keynote speech of Vice Governor Chen Zhenning elaborated on the great achievements and prospects of economic and trade cooperation between Jiangsu Province and California. Chen also praised and encouraged investment projects of Jiangsu enterprises in the United States. Vice President Zhu Xiaoning, as the sole representative of Jiangsu enterprises, delivered a keynote speech of “JSTI's Joint Practices of Overseas Strategy”, in which he introduced the overall situation of the Group as a top-100 engineering consulting firm (according to both ENR Global Ranking and International Ranking). According to him, TestAmerica, the No. 1 company in the US environmental detection field, will grow into an international and comprehensive testing company through strategic initiatives such as capital operation and market development in China after the Group's acquisition of the company. At the same time, Vice President Zhu said the Group will increase the number of employment opportunities in the United States to achieve a win-win situation for business cooperation between the two countries.

      During the meeting, Sun Jin, Deputy Director of Department of Commerce, Jiangsu Province, led officials from relevant departments, as well as leaders from SUMEC Group, Jiangsu Salt Group, and Govtor Capital, to visit the Sacramento (capital of California) Laboratory of TestAmerica. A seminar, organized by Department of Commerce and Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province, was held during the visit. Chinese Consul General in Los Angeles, The Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development, Jiangsu General Chamber of Commerce in the United States co-organized the seminar. Wu Xiaoming, director of TestAmerica and vice president of the General Chamber of Commerce in the United States, attended the meeting.
