EPTISA Representing Spanish Firms Attended the Belt and Road Forum

      The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation opened in Beijing on May 14th. Heads of state and chiefs of governments from 29 countries, leaders and representatives of more than 70 international organizations, and over a hundred other political, business and academic figures, totally more than a thousand important personages took part in this forum. Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy also attended, accompanied by Wang Junhua, the vice chairman of JSTI Group and chairman of subsidiary EPTISA, and EPTISA CEO Luis Villarroya who was invited as the representative of Spanish firms. It is reported that during the forum, EPTISA ranked the first in the bid for the World Bank's biggest program in India this year.

      In a joint written interview with Chinese media in Spain before the forum, Prime Minister Rajoy said that the Belt and Road construction would surely promote the relationship between Europe and China, and make people around the world closer. It would enhance international cooperation, help develop infrastructure and guarantee better connections among major global markets. He also said that, Spanish enterprises in energy, telecommunication, infrastructure construction and alike enjoyed a high international profile, and they expected to join in the construction of the Belt and Road.
