Strengthen Design to Lead International Engineering Overall Contracting -- Vice President Zhu Xiaoning’s Speech at the 8th IIICF

  From June 1 to June 2, the 8th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (hereinafter “8th IIICF”) was held in Macao. The theme of the Forum is “to build diversified, innovative, and sustainable infrastructure with industrial linkage”. More than 1,700 elites from 63 countries and regions attended the Forum, including 57 ministerial officials,32 executives from international financial institutions such as World Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, as well as more than 630business representatives from international contractor associations, contractors, equipment manufacturers, consulting service agencies, industrial chain service providers, and so on.

      Zhu Xiaoning, Vice President of JSTI Group attended the Forum and addressed a speech, “Build International Enterprise Groups by Overseas Counterpart Mergers and Acquisitions and Strengthen Design to Lead International Engineering Overall Contracting”, at the parallel forum “Innovate Cooperation to Promotes Cross-border Integration in International Engineering Contracting”.

      Zhu said in overseas EPC projects, Chinese contractors have often faced the problem of slow design approval due to Chinese design specifications that are unacceptable to foreign supervisors and proprietors. JSTI has acquired the Spanish design company EPTISA, which will effectively solve the design problems facing Chinese contractors while opening the door to international construction contracting markets for the Group.
