Railway Engineering Professional Technical Qualifications of Jiangsu Province covers the evaluation criteria of Jiangsu railway engineering professional researcher-level senior engineer qualifications, senior engineer qualifications, engineer qualifications, Jiangsu railway engineering qualifications. Considering the professional features of railway engineering, the document divides professionals engaged in railway engineering into four categories: railway planning and design, railway construction, railway operation and management, and railway vehicle mechatronics. The document clarifies the reporting requirements of railway engineering qualification assessment while refining the assessment standards. Many expert seminars were held with Jiangsu Province Department of Transportation, Jiangsu Province Department of Human Resources and Social Security,Jiangsu ProvinceRailway Office. Together, experts modified and perfected the qualification evaluation criteria of Jiangsu Provincerailway engineering professional researcher-level senior engineer qualifications, senior engineer qualifications, andengineer qualifications, after which the Railway Engineering Professional Technical Qualifications of Jiangsu Provincewas approved after reviewing.
Background:
During the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, Jiangsu Province has been accelerating its railway construction. At present, there are 8 projects under construction in the province with a mileage of 1132 kilometers, which requires further investment of about 120 billion yuan. 5 projects are intended to start soon with a mileage of 600 kilometers with total investment in the province ofabout 98 billion yuan. The total length of new main line railways under construction and those to be built is about 3,200 kilometers with total investment in the province of about 460 billion yuan. Jiangsu Province plans to complete construction of 1,500 kilometers and investment of 200 to 250 billion yuan during the13th Five-Year Plan. By 2020, the scale and quality of the railway network in Jiangsu Province will be greatly improved. The “three vertical and four horizontal” rapid railway network has been formed in a comprehensive manner. The layout of passenger and freight hubs has been improved.The cross-river capability and interconnection have been significantly strengthened. The total mileage of railway has reached more than 4,000 km, of which rapid railway (more than 200 km per hour) has reached 3000 km or so, with double-track rate and electrochemicalrate of more than 70%.
